DESIGNER: Martina discovered her passion for fashion design at the age of 13 - by then she was already designing and sewing her first pieces for her friends and family. When she was 19, her collection appeared at an avant-garde boutique in Vienna. In 2007, talented Martina founded her fashion brand CALLISTI and opened her first boutique in Vienna, a year later she got to the final of Vienna RG Designer Award and this way she fully started her successful career of an esteemed fashion designer.
In the following year, she presented her work at a fashion week in Vienna. Since then, besides other things, she has attended fashion weeks in Paris, Milan, Vancouver and Berlin and she was the one to dress the actress Brooke Shields for the red carpet. At Prague’s Rock & Pop for Fashion she
will present her Women’s Spring/Summer collection for the year 2014.Callisti style is very feminine, luxurious and extravagant, with a visible influence of noble elegance and classics. Martina’s favorite designers and her fashion inspirations are Lanvin, Rick Owens and Elie Saab. Vibrant New York and a small Greek island, Santorini belong to her favourite places.
MUSIC PERFORMANCE:
TINA (MARTINA CSILLAGHOVÁ)
Tina is a beautiful singer belonging to the R'n'B elite on the Czechoslovak scene.
She started her career in 2004 at the age of 20 as she released her debut album. She also won a Newcomer of the Year award in Grad Prix Radio that year. The singer has also gained several nominations in the music contest Český slavík and she has been awarded four statuettes in Aurel Awards. She released her second album Chillin in 2006 which was highly acknowledged and thanks to this success she gained recognition in the public eye.
During her music career she has cooperated with acknowledged Czechoslovak hiphop interpreters such as PSH, DJ Wich, DJ Vec and Čistychov. She has also been a support-singer for a worldwide-known band Black Eyed Peas and an American hiphop trio De La Soul.

DESIGNER: JANA GAVALCOVÁ (born in Bratislava, Slovakia)
Jana has felt passionate about fashion and design since she was a child. Her grandparents made their living in the dressmaking and shoemaking industry and that is why her love for making clothes grew so rapidly. To gain her professional education, she studied the High School of Textile Industry in Bratislava. She is a highly regarded fashion designer and a star at Slovak scene. RPF will be her Czech premiere. Jana is an author of several collections and she has cooperated with many celebrities. Her well worked-out evening gowns have enchanted the audience at prestigious Slovak fashion events - e.g. Bratislava Fashion Weekend, Orange Fashion or Russian Slovak Fashion Revolution. She has also
designed a collection of richly decorated swimwear for the prestigious beauty contest Miss Universe SR.
This young designer’s hallmarks are extraordinary, detailed handicraft and hand decoration. Important features of her work are also wear ability and comfort. Her collections consist of evening gowns as well as romantic skirts suitable for everyday wear and some pieces of urban clothing. The courage of flat surface areas and hard punk strikes certainly holds one’s attention. Jana’s idols are Vivienne Westwood, Balmain and Elie Saab.
Her Spring/Summer collection, which shall be presented to public on the 21 March, is patronised by His Excellency Peter Weiss, the Slovak ambassador to the Czech Republic, and by MA Peter Vašovič, the director of the Slovak Institute in Prague.

BÁRA BASIKOVÁ
The singer Bára Basiková is rightly considered to be one of the most talented artists of Czech music scene.
She started her music career in the 80s with bands Precedens and Stromboli (Michal Pavlíček‘s formation).
She has recorded fourteen solo albums and she has participated in making fifty others. She also performs regularly in well-known theatre and musical performances - she has played a leading role in a rock musical Jesus Christ Superstar and also in popular performances such as Rusalka, Johanka z Arku, Kleopatra, Obraz Doriana Graye or Dáma s kaméliemi.
She has won many significant awards during her career for her vocal performance and she has also been ranked highly in Czech music contests (e.g. Český slavík).
She is currently playing with a renewed band Basicband and she performs in musicals Jesus Christ Superstar, Johanka z Arku and in a family musical Kapka medu pro Verunku. After a 12-year break she released her new solo album called Beneville in autumn 2013 in which Václav Noid Bárta cooperated with her. Bára is also a devoted writer - she has written a novel called Rozhovory s útěkem and many short stories, articles and song lyrics.
She considers her main life achievement to be her children; twins Anna and Marie and her four-year old son Theodor.

Nuno, who focuses on menswear, studied design at CITEX (Training Centre of Textile Industry) in Porto. He founded his brand Nuno Gama Textil right after his graduation in 1991 and shortly after that he introduced his first collection at a prestigious Portuguese event Moda Lisboa. In the following years he opened his first bouXques - today there are 9 of them throughout Portugal, and he started taking part regularly in Portuguese events (Moda Lisboa and Portugal Fashion) and also in international fashion events (e.g. trade fairs such as Nouvel Espace in Paris, Gaudí in Barcelona, exposition Mode Gitanes in Parisian Louvre, Hombres de Fraldas in Madrid), in September last year he had great success with his 2014 Spring/Summer collection at the Lisbon Fashion Week. Nuno’s menswear is sold all over the world - in Europe, United States, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Angola or Beirut. As regards the recognition for his work, the designer has been awarded the Golden Globe in
the category Personality of the Year and a prize for the best boutique design at Fashion Awards Portugal.
Nuno’s significant work inspiration has been Portuguese culture and tradition. His new 2014 Spring/ Summer collection, full of shades of blue and hand-painted pieces, pays tribute to Portuguese pottery and Portuguese influence here is evident. His Autumn/Winter collection will be presented in Prague in March.

DESIGNER: Taťána is without a doubt one of the most famous Czech designers. You can see her collections at prestigious fashion events on a regular basis and especially Czech women are keen on her work. Her dresses are worn even by Czech music celebrities - Helena Vondráčková, Monika Absolonová or Bára Basiková who will represent the rock genre at the RPF. Taťána is also a wardrobe mistress in the film and television field.
Her collection TATIANA Spring/Summer 2014, to be presented to the public at RPF, follows the designer’s well-established style. It emphasizes femininity, simple lines benefitting women‘s figures and attention to detail. Taťána brought fabric for her collection from Spain and Italy, we encounter soft knitwear, jersey and wool but also delicate pieces made of silk and viscose. Her collection was designed in such a way that it would go with the wearer’s
every occasion. It consists of overalls, ladies suits, chic slim-line dresses, informal tunics and laced evening gowns.
MUSIC PERFORMANCE: VÁCLAV NOID BÁRTA
Václav Noid Bárta is a Czech rock singer, music arranger and composer with a musical background (his father was a songwriter, mother a singer). Perhaps that is why he has been attracted to musical instruments since he was a child - he learnt to play the fipple flute, piano, clarinet, guitar, bass and drums.
At the age of 17 he started singing in a nu metal band Dolores Clan and he is currently playing in his own band Noid Crew. He also performs in the Musical Theatre Karlín playing leading roles in musicals Aida, Jesus Christ Superstar and Lucie, větší než malé množství lásky.
During his musical career he has cooperated with famous Czech musicians such as Kamil Střihavka, Martin Pošta, Michal Pavlíček or Lucie Bílá.
He has also written music for the musical Němcová! and for the film Kajínek where he also played a minor role of a jail-mate. In autumn 2013 he released his solo album Václav NOID Bárta which he created in cooperation with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra.
